What We Do
We design and develop luminaires to support the indoor emergency location, in-building emergency evacuation, intervention and resilience.
Wireless radio frequency technology has become an integral part of our everyday lives now more than ever. We spend 80% or more of our lifetime indoors, where we remain connected by ubiquitous wireless access to RF technologies, such as smartphones & wearables through cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth, UWB, RFID, etc., inside buildings. We need these technologies to progress and grow in modern society.
Using such wireless RF technologies can improve emergency safety inside buildings. We must use the best and most reliable life-saving technology to help people during emergencies.
As the local jurisdiction requires, emergency lighting indicates egresses for occupants, residents, and visitors to exit the building, typically during evacuations. This has been the only functionality since it was introduced many decades ago. The time has come to reshape the old-school lighting by collaborating with RF technology to offer more meaningful help to save lives, such as assisting in finding emergency callers inside complex buildings.
